The Master of Science in Urban Education prepares teachers intellectually and pragmatically to be effective in urban classrooms and to become leaders in urban school districts. Students seeking entrance into the program who have not had experience in urban settings will be required to work closely with at least one urban educator during their degree program in order to experience the urban classroom first-hand.
